After 7 Weeks of BREATHE Voice & Communications Training you'll feel confident enough in your voice and communication style to create your first video, start a podcast, sing to the rooftops, and more!
In 7 sessions we cover practical strategies and exercises to develop your voice, your communication style, and your confidence so you can speak and perform with assurance.
Here’s an overview of what we will be doing:
Week 1: Breathe – We will be focusing on building good habits around breath. Where to breathe in your body, how to visualize it, how to physically practice breathing. Yes, it’s true, something you have done ‘naturally’ your whole life needs practice! This is the first step to connecting to your authentic voice. It’s the foundation upon which your voice and your message is built.
Week 2: Resonance – Resonance is a quality of sound, but also a quality of words. The sounds you make and the words you choose are important for your whole message. Explore different physical spaces in which to make sound. Explore how different words SOUND. Sing along with your favourite song – now turn down the radio.
Week 3: Explore – Be curious. I’ll be asking you to explore and answer several questions about your own voice. Make high sounds, make low sounds. Get to know and be friends with your voice. Explore what words resonate with you and how important the words you choose to voice can be.
Week 4: Application of skills – You will begin to apply the previous three weeks’ concepts and ideas as we move into the second half of the program.
Week 5: Tips for your Tongue – What is up with your tongue, anyway? It’s a big muscle that can be so helpful, and yet sometimes get in the way. It aids in pronunciation, and you can make funny faces with it! This is the week to learn few tongue and mouth tips for better pronunciation and clearer communication.
Week 6: Head Games – Hear/Head/Heart - What about those critical voices in our heads? How do we deal with them? We will look at the function of those extra voices, but also learn how to manage them. You’ll learn when to listen to those voices and when to set them aside and follow more instinct. I’ll also teach you some secret performer tips to get the best out of the nerves we all feel at one time or another.
Week 7: Energy – We look at how energy affects the way we communicate, tying in the previous 6 weeks lessons in order to create your first piece of content/media/speech. It doesn’t have to be a Facebook Live, but it will be something for you to share and introduce you to the ways and means of preparing and producing your content.

I'm your fabulous hostess, Jennifer Lang, owner, and chief inspiration leader!
I've been studying, teaching, and coaching voices for over 15 years, and I've developed some special listening, healing, and leadership skills that are essential in today's communication world.
What makes my training unique is the variety of perspectives and experience I bring to you. Along with my work in communications in marketing, I have a Master's in Voice Performance from McGill University in Montreal, and I'm also a Reiki Master, Black belt in Karate, and have been studying yoga and movement arts for more than 17 years.
To get the best of your training here, check back regularly, watch videos and content more than once, and be prepared for some deep work as we go into voice, blocks, mindset, healing, and communication.
